age 16 - moved in with little old lady, 2-room house, walked to school a mile in snow.
age 17 - graduated, top honors. Started college before 18th bday.
age 18-22 - lived on $1000 a year, drove ancient car, graduated Magna Cum Laude (BS in Psychology Special Education and K-8 teaching certificate. Got married.
age 23-27 Moved five times. Taught Montessori school (12-15 hour work days). Finished 18 post grad credits. Had 3 babies. Lived in a tiny mobile home. Taught night school. Continued grad school.
At 44 - Happily married 21 years. Home-schooled 4 kids for 10 years. Remodeled a condemned house. Had two more babies. Mary Therese and Isabella Raine passed away before birth. Substitute teaching and writing articles online for about 3years.

What advice do you have for the journey of life? Never say never.
What are you most passionate about in life? I love my children with a unending zeal, theatre, red wine, education, murder mysteries, the Catholic Churhc, art history, children's literature, music history, hands-on math, good bargains, creativity...
What ticks you off? hypocrisy, waste, not helping others in need, organized sports,
Any thoughts or ideas on living a greener life? Reduce things, spending and stuff. Repair and reuse don't discard. Save suff for another use. Hit the 'save' not the 'print' button. Make it do, use it up, wear it out (95+ grandparents depression era advice).
What would people be surprised to know about you? One of my dearest friends is gay; of all my friends he's been the most compassionate about the babies I lost. He's also incredibly fun to go out with. We eat and laugh and have a great time.
